Kobelco’s Collision Reduction System K-EYE PRO

Kobelco K-Eye Pro, the collision reduction system is equipped with an automatic stop function. This system is the first in the construction industry that detects a nearby person and objects not only when the excavator is moving but also when it is rotating. The excavator decelerates or stops operation when an object is detected nearby.

Elimination of work-related injury or death is one of the many challenges faced by the construction industry globally. Kobelco’s K- Eye Pro system not only detects the object when in motion but also enables operation in a direction where no hazards are identified even after stopping.
