Kobelco Tier 4 Final Range

New emission regulations took place in Australia on the 1st of January 2018.  The new regulation requires NSW EPA licensed businesses to purchase Tier 4 Final equipment. Kobelco’s range of Tier 4 Final compliant excavators meets these requirements. Select Tier 4 Final models are also available with the Trimble-ready Earthworks System.

The new type of Tier IV compliant engine is fitted with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and an SCR device to control emissions without using a diesel particulate filter (DPF). It has a large-capacity DEF/Urea tank, extending intervals between fill-ups. This results in a NOx reduction rate of about 88% compared to previous models.
