K-Dive – Kobelco’s exclusive remote operation

Kobelco K-Dive technology is under development and is focused on providing real solutions and supporting the future of the construction industry.

With K-Dive, Kobelco will provide a means of remote machine control that enables an operator to sit in a replicated control cabin from the comfort of an office and be able to see and control an excavator located in any job site around the world.

The system will drastically change the way people work on construction sites as the platform will give companies an advantage of operating the equipment even in harsh and dangerous environments without having to travel to these job sites.

There are many other advantages of K-Dive, including management of operator shortages, allowing companies to view the progress of the work in real-time and using the virtual room to train future operators to improve their skills even remotely.
